Easter island visuals
I have decided to model 3d Easter Island (something similar to what you see below)
And to design personal route of delivery for each Maoi head (something similar to what you see below)

This 3D model is the first attempt to visualize my idea.

On this picture you see little icon signifying the places where Maoi heads sould be moved. When you rollover mouse on one of the such icon you would be shown the path of the delivery (blue icon + path). By clicking on the icon you would be taken to the game level.

Easter Island 2
Easter Island, 2nd game conception.
As all these Maoi heads are very hard (up to 270 tons) scientist tried to find the answer on the question about the moving of them to the places where are they now from the place where they were built (middle of the island). They designed few techniques that could be used for moving these sculptures. Here few links that has information answering this question
• http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/easter/move/past.html
• http://www.tegakinet.jp/moai.htm
Because moving of the heads is very interesting aspect of Maoi I decided to produce a game based on this problem.
Player starts with all the Maoi heads located in the middle of the island and his aim to move all the head to the right places using particular moving techniques depending on the landscape. Before the game player would be introduced to all the available techniques and the landscape they applicable to. To make game more interesting I am thinking about limiting of techniques using, for example on the particular way of moving he has limited points and player have to use them smartly to be sure he have enough to reach the destination. Probably the would be a time limit as well for each technique, of for all the route. This is initial idea for my game. More detailed description would be soon ☺.

New Term - New Brief.
The Island.
For this brief I have to design computer game. Main theme is Island. After meditation on this problem I have decided to base conception of the game on the really existing Island. So it has to be an island that has something interesting on it or has a history that would give me material for a story of my game. Three islands came to my mind: “New Land” - place where Russian scientists in 1950s tested their hydrogen bomb “Ivan”, Greenland - that could melt because of the global warming, if it happens it would change Golf Stream and Europe would turn to the Ice Age and the third one is Easter Island - that has weird head sculptures called Maoi.

Easter Island attracted me a lot because of the riddle it has. Nobody knows exactly why these “Maoi” heads were built. There are 997 Moai on the island. All of them are solid and cut of one of pressed volcano ash and stones. Sizes and weights are different of each head. Sometimes weight reaches up to 20 tons and height up to 6 metres. The biggest Moai has weight of 270 tons and height of 20 metres. Also some incomplete head were found on the island. There are only suggestions how these sculptures were moved from the places they were built. There are a legend that Maoi walked by themselves. Another version that these sculptures were made and moved by Atlantes.

I think that Easter Island is great place to base the game on. Further I will try to explain the story of the game.
Conception of the game is puzzle based one. Basically player starts with the empty island with no sculptures on it. The only things he has is source of the stone for the building Maoi and clearly marked places where Maoi should be located. When sculpture is ready he has to find a right place for it, shape and size should match with the shape and size of the head, just like puzzle. When all the sculptures cut of and placed correctly it completes the system of the enigmatical constructions (Egyptian pyramids, Stonehenge,) all around the world. This system activates Earth’s energy and something great happens.
During further lectures I will build up a general view of the game.
